COMPANY AUDITIONS

Auditions are separated by dance style and age.

In order to be considered for company, auditions are mandatory.

Dancers Ages 10&up auditioning for Movement Dance Company - please click the corresponding link below to a video combination that you must learn and be prepared to present at the audition.

Dancers will be evaluated on technique, flexibility, skills and phrasework
*Age for audition is as of Sept 1st, 2026
*All dancers should have their hair pulled back away from their face for auditions
Movement Dance Company
Thursday May 28th, 2026
5–7 yrs 4:00-4:45pm
8 yrs 5:00-6:00pm
9 yrs 6:15-7:15pm
10-11 yrs 7:30-8:30pm
Wednesday May 27th, 2026
12 yrs 4:30-5:45pm
13-14 yrs 5:45-7:00pm
15-18 yrs 7:15-8:30pm
Movement Dance Company auditionees should wear a black leotard, shorts and jazz shoes
(PMDC blue dress is fine for
K & 1st grade aged dancers).
Tap Company
Tuesday May 26th, 2026
7-8 yrs 4:30-5:00pm
9-10 yrs 5:15-5:45pm
11-12 yrs 6:00-6:30pm
13 yrs & up 6:45-7:15pm
Tap auditionees should wear black leotard, black shorts and tap shoes.
Hip Hop Company

Hip Hop auditionees should wear black leggings/sweatpants, black tank top and hip hop shoes/sneakers.

Invitation Only
Dancers interested in this program are required to be a member of Movement Dance Company and should indicate their interest on the audition form. Dancers selected for these programs will be notified of their acceptance.
